Born in 1963 in Nantong, Jiangsu, China

Member of the Chinese Artists Association, member of the Society of American Printmakers (SAGA), vice president of the Chinese Painting Society (USA), executive director of the Jiangsu Chinese Painting Society of China, and former vice president of the Qidong Printmaking Institute, the first academy of Chinese printmaking.

Chen has also held solo exhibitions in the United States, China, and Taiwan, and his works have been held in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the National Art Museum of China, the Shanghai Art Museum of China, the Tianjin Art Museum of China, the Jiangsu Art Museum of China, the Wuhan Art Museum of China, the National Academy of Painting of China, and the Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts , Taiwan Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, etc. His works are collected by various art museums in the United States, China and Taiwan.
