Dewei ZHAO

Born in Shanghai in 1960, Zhao has lived in Qingdao for a long time, engaging in art creation and art education work.

Zhao has served as the president of the Qingdao Young Artists Association and an executive director of the Shandong Young Artists Association. Zhao has held multiple solo exhibitions, participated in joint exhibitions, and attended art fairs.

In 2004, Zhao moved to the Song Zhuang Artist Village in Beijing, where he established the Zhao Dewei Art Studio.

In 2019, Zhao lived and created art in New York for six months. Since 2022, Zhao has been residing in New York, continuing his art creation. International and domestic art institutions and art collectors have widely collected Zhao's works.
