About Our Founder
Gia is the founder of Golden Arts, Golden Music, and Light Up Global Nonprofit—three organizations established from her deep compassion for the struggling artists she saw around her.
Witnessing the financial and emotional challenges faced by many talented musicians and visual artists, Gia felt a calling to create platforms that would provide them not only opportunities, but dignity, visibility, and hope. Golden Arts, Golden Music, and Light Up Global were born from this vision: to uplift artists, to amplify their voices, and to bring the healing power of art to communities in need.
Gia’s background spans both creative practice and cultural scholarship. She studied music and fashion design, developing a strong foundation in artistic expression, aesthetics, and storytelling. Her understanding of art and cultural history deepened significantly when she studied art history and curatorial practice under Professor Kirl Hristov, a distinguished faculty member at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Under his mentorship, Gia gained a broader global perspective on the arts, cross-cultural dialogue, and the social responsibility of curatorial work.
As the founder of three art-driven organizations, Gia continues to champion artists, cultural education, and community support. Her work focuses on creating charitable art initiatives, empowering emerging and underrepresented artists, and fostering collaborations across cultures and disciplines. She believes deeply that art has the power to heal, unite, and transform lives.
